I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of a friend, whose son could really use our help!

David Thomson is a son, family member, and friend whose life changed suddenly after being struck by a vehicle while walking.

As a result of the accident, David sustained catastrophic injuries including broken ribs, a broken neck, a collapsed lung, and lacerations of both his kidney and spleen. Despite multiple surgeries and the tireless efforts of his medical team to save his leg, doctors were ultimately forced to make the heartbreaking decision to amputate.

David is now facing a long and difficult recovery — physically, emotionally, and financially. He is currently unable to work, and the mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses have become overwhelming for him and his family.

This fundraiser is intended solely to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time, including:
