SUPPORT DAVID’S JOURNEY TO CHELSEA FC 2025
Donation protected
Twelve-year-old David is a passionate soccer player with big dreams of one day playing professionally. Known for his quick feet and ball control, David has been invited to attend a development program with Chelsea FC in London in the UK this spring. He will travel with 14 other Western Australian kids for this exciting opportunity, through the International Soccer Academy.
To help cover the cost of the trip, David is fundraising for this valuable prospect to advance his soccer career, that he is keen to make the most out of. So far he has done bake sales, bottle recycling, with a few other events planned.
David’s determination shines both on and off the pitch, as he works tirelessly toward his goal, hoping to turn this exciting opportunity into a stepping stone for his future in the sport he loves.
David has been playing soccer at least 3 age divisions up since he was 9 years old. Last year (2024), David captained his school soccer team to the winning trophy in the interschool Lightning Carnival soccer tournament. David also played a big part last winter season (2024) in his team’s success as 1st runners up in the CCJSA U13s competition, was awarded the coach’s award for the season, and also played a leading role in his team winning the 2024 U13s premiership in the Lower South-West League summer season competition.
David is a talented athlete who has also represented his school in athletics track and field, most recently winning the 100m, 200m, 400m and triple jump at the 2024 interschool athletics carnival, as well as running anchor winning gold for his school’s 4 x 100m relay team. He won the Interschool Athletics 2024 Year 6 Boys Champion medal. He has also represented his town’s team in basketball at the 2024 South-West Regionals, and also at the 2024/2025 BWA Country Championships.
David’s real sporting passion however, lies in soccer, and this is displayed in his commitment and dedication to developing his game.
It was during a soccer camp in Bunbury last spring that David caught the eye of coaches from Chelsea FC and the International Soccer Academy, and with the invitation extended to him to attend this Chelsea FC development camp this coming spring, he has been training extra hard all through last summer to the current winter season.
Funds raised will cover travel, accommodation and camp costs. Every donation big or small, will help David towards developing his soccer career, and is very much appreciated by this keen young soccer player.
David’s friend and teammate Zavier Lowe, a promising young star, also has a Go Fund Me page. We would appreciate any support you may be able to give for Zavier as well through Zavier’s Go Fund Me page at this link: https://gofund.me/877e669c
We thank you so much for your support and generosity.
