Every single day is a battle for survival, but when you are fighting for your life without a roof over your head, the weight becomes unbearable.We are David and Katelynn, and right now, we are entirely homeless. Alongside us are our two loyal dogs, Bubbz and Daizy, who keep us moving when the despair feels too heavy to carry. We are doing everything we can to hold onto hope, but we have reached a breaking point and urgently need your help to survive.The Reality of Our Struggled, David is fighting a severe and worsening battle with Type C heart failure. Because his heart cannot pump blood the way it should, his body is under constant, excruciating stress. His legs and feet swell terribly every single day, leaving him in agonizing, non-stop pain. Trying to manage a critical, life-threatening heart condition while living on the streets or out of a vehicle is nearly impossible. There is no quiet place for him to rest, no stable environment to manage his medical needs, and no relief from the physical toll this takes on his body.Bubbz and Daizy don’t understand why we don't have a home anymore, but they stay right by our side, offering the only comfort we have left. They are our family, and the thought of not being able to provide a safe environment for them breaks our hearts just as much as our physical reality. Why We Need Your Help Our ultimate goal is to raise $15,000 so we can finally secure a safe, stable, and permanent place to live. Because of David’s health constraints and our current lack of stability, our plan is to use these funds to secure a rental and pay 6 months to a year in advance. This will give David the vital, uninterrupted time he needs to rest, heal, and manage his heart failure without the constant, terrifying fear of being forced back onto the street month after month.Thanks to the incredible kindness of early supporters, we have already raised $5,000.
