After a brave 18 month long fight, David has passed from complications of pancreatic cancer. David was surrounded by loved ones and was comforted knowing the impact his life has made for so many.

Many of us know David has given his entire life to supporting those around him, as a dedicated wildland firefighter for over 40 years, a founding member of the Wallowa History Center, a loving mentor, teacher, and shoulder to lean on.

Our family is beyond grateful for the outpouring of love we have received throughout this battle, but outstanding medical bills and final expenses have been challenging for his surviving loved ones. Therefore, any form of support is greatly appreciated.
