A song can introduce us to a country we have never visited. A voice can move us before we understand its language. That is the spirit of DavideCult TV.

We are Davide and Laura, an Italian–Colombian couple based in Sicily, Italy. Through music reactions, commentary and cultural discovery, we explore voices and stories from around the world. Our YouTube community has grown to more than 318,000 subscribers, bringing people from different countries together through a shared love of music.

WHAT WE WANT TO KEEP BUILDING

We want to keep creating a welcoming space where people can discover artists beyond their own borders, hear different languages and share what music means in their cultures. Every video takes time: finding performances, researching their context, preparing, recording, editing and managing the channel.

WHY VOLUNTARY SUPPORT MATTERS

A large subscriber count does not automatically provide a sustainable income. Advertising revenue varies, and videos featuring copyrighted music can be subject to YouTube copyright policies and Content ID claims. Depending on the claim and applicable arrangements, revenue may go to a rights holder, be shared, or be held while a dispute is reviewed. Some videos cannot earn advertising revenue for us.

We have seen these different outcomes on our own channel. We respect the rights of artists and copyright owners. This fundraiser supports our own creative work; contributions do not purchase music rights or guarantee permission to use copyrighted material.

OUR INITIAL GOAL: THREE MONTHS OF DAVIDECULT TV

Our initial goal is €4,700 to support three months of the project. Our monthly budget is €1,500, making €4,500 for three months, with an additional €200 allowance for transaction fees. The actual fees will depend on the number and size of donations.

Your support will help sustain the time and work we dedicate to researching music, preparing and recording videos, editing, and managing the channel. The budget includes compensation for our work as creators, helping us continue producing and developing DavideCult TV.

Davide will receive the funds as the organiser and use them to support the project run by Davide and Laura. We will share updates here about the work your contributions make possible. If we raise less than our goal, we will use the funds towards the same work; any amount above the goal will help extend that support beyond the initial three months.
