From Stroke to Hope — Help Me Stay Afloat

Hi, my name is David York, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do — asking for help.

I suffered a stroke that completely changed the course of my life. It’s been a long road to recovery, filled with challenges I never imagined facing — physically, emotionally, and financially. I’m currently unable to work and in the process of applying for disability benefits, but that process takes time, and the bills haven’t stopped coming.

I’ve already exhausted all of my savings just trying to stay afloat. Now I’m in a place where I need support to keep a roof over my head, food on the table, and cover critical expenses like medication and transportation to doctor appointments.

I’m hoping to raise $10,000 to get through this season of uncertainty and focus on healing without the weight of financial stress.
