If you know Dave Worthington, you know what a fun-loving, generous and caring guy he is. He has been a loyal friend to so many of us, there for us in good times and bad, always ready with a joke or phone call to brighten our spirits.
As many of you know, Dave himself has fallen on tough times. In September he had to undergo emergency colon surgery that left him with a long road to recovery and unable to work. Slowly but surely, he got better and stronger, and was looking forward to having this second surgery as the final step to be able to return to life as normal. However, there were some complications after surgery that have been quite discouraging, and now it looks like it will be another long period of recovery before Dave is able to heal completely, go back to work, and be doing his normal activities again.
When all of this happened, Dave's first thought was "How am I going to physically and financially survive this?".
We know the mental, emotional and financial burden have been heavy, and we would love for you to join us in rallying around our friend Dave and help alleviate some of that unneeded stress, so he can fully focus on his health and healing.
Any donations are greatly appreciated. Asking for money has weighed heavy on David's heart and he doesn't want you to feel obligated to give. Dave hasn't had a paycheck since the end of October, so these donations will go to pay for Dave's living expenses while he's recovering. Thank you so much to all who have already supported Dave with your prayers and well wishes. They have meant the world to him to keep him going in what's been a really hard several months. Let's continue to cheer him on with our prayers and donations, knowing he would do the same for us!
