Support David Wentland's Healing Journey

Hi Everyone. My name is Jordyn Wentland and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my dad, David (Dave) Wentland.

On Nov. 29th, 2024 (the day after Thanksgiving) my dad went into respiratory arrest and then cardiac arrest. The first responders and paramedics were able to regain a pulse and cardiac rhythm and he was then brought to the hospital and has been in the ICU ever since.

For those of you that know my dad, you know how tough he is. He is strong and has overcome so much. Also, for those of you that know my mom, Diana (Barby) Wentland, you know that she is always by his side and always does what she can to support him.

Due to his respiratory and cardiac arrest, he has suffered a brain injury due to the lack of oxygen he had to his brain.

Over the course of the two weeks, my dad has overcome “small miracles” as we like to call them. He was on a ventilator for 13 days and has since been taking off the ventilator and his able to breath on his own. This first small miracle just shows how tough my dad is and that he is such a fighter.

There are many more small miracles to overcome in the future. His healing and recovery journey is just beginning and with that come medical expenses and life expenses.

I am using this Go Fund Me to help raise funds for my dad, for his healing and recovery journey to come and for my mom so she can support him the best she can.
