We are the Till family and David Paxton is one of our dearest family friends. He is a father, husband, proud Army veteran, and friend. He has been battling lung cancer and thought it was all removed in surgery, but recently found out the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes. Amid his already devastating battle with cancer, Dave recently suffered a stroke that has caused near total paralysis of his left side of his body. Although he is in intensive rehabilitation, he has a long road ahead with extensive equipment and accommodation needs so that he may continue to live in his current home with his family and safely travel to and from work and beyond.

Immediate needs include ramps in/around his house, a wheelchair accessible vehicle, and a motorized wheelchair - ideally an “off-road” style that would allow him to continue to do what he loves in the mountains. We will update as other needs arise.

Dave isn’t one to ask for help but we are hopeful that the community will rally around a local veteran and his family in their time of need.
