If not for that chance visit to the doctor, he’d still be unaware, carrying on as the selfless, vibrant man we all know and love. Instead, he’s now facing a battle none of us saw coming.

David’s journey since that moment has been a whirlwind of appointments, tests, and a grueling lung surgery to remove the mass. Chemotherapy, which he began today (3/18), stripped away his ability to do the “on-the-side jobs,” which helped alleviate the expenses he has and will continue to experience.
