Dear Friends & Family,

I am reaching out on behalf of my companion and best friend, David Lucarello, devoted partner, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, whom has been recently diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer stage IV early this May. This news has turned our world upside down, especially given the loss of my own mother just recently and the aggression of this disease. With his team of Doctors, we are doing everything we can to support him through the fight of his life. However, before we can even begin a second round of chemotherapy, David has suffered several set backs, having been told his cancer has metastasized throughout most of his liver, causing additional complications.

David is 47 years old with such a kind heart and a courageous spirit. Since the diagnosis, Doctors have already begun an aggressive chemotherapy regimen. While their strength is inspiring, the emotional and financial burden can, at times, be a bit overwhelming.

We take this journey day by day, sometimes even minute by minute as we are doing our very best to get David back to a comfortable quality of life. The cost of cancer treatments are high- even with insurance- and there are additional expenses for our travel, medications, time off work, and daily living necessities. We are asking for your help to ease this financial stress so that David can focus on healing and keeping strong.

Recently I have been asked many, many times, "What can we do for you? for David?" Your support can lighten this burden. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant impact.
