Help and Heal David John to battle cancer, A Little Boy Warrior

His mother, is a former colleague and a close friend of mine from Saudi Arabia and extremely in need of everyone support for her son with high-risk (AML) acute myeloid leukemia, that needs chemotherapy and definitive treatment, stem cell transplant

David John Banaria Namora is a 7-year-old boy with autism, youngest of 3 children of an OFW parents. They were 2 boys who has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, on continuous occupation therapy and attending school, with these challenges the parent’s tried ends meet until this unfortunate situation that leave the family in despair.

This diagnosis was accidentally found out last August 2024, When the eldest sister had a dengue and David John developed fever, he was tested for dengue and negative, but cbc test was terrible, further test was done that confirmed the AML. He received incomplete 1 cycle chemotherapy in Philippines and his mother brought him in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she is working, seeking for the best possible treatment and support. Bone marrow aspiration was done, and some series of test where performed, the most important is the cytogenetics molecular studies which determine the prognosis. Unfortunately, David John is positive for FLT3 that makes him high risk AML and definitive treatment is stem cell transplant.

Currently David John is receiving a chemotherapy in King Abdullah Specialized Children Hospital, Riyadh, but it might stop any time due to financial difficulty. Medical expenses are much burden aside from family unfortunate experience due to David John’s illness.

In this seasons of giving, David John is knocking to all kindhearted, to raise funds for his continuity of chemotherapy and definitive treatment, stem cell transplant.
