It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our longtime colleague and friend, Jose “David” Garcia.

David was a cherished member of the Sharp Grossmont Hospital family for over 25 years. Known to many simply as “David,” he was a familiar and comforting presence throughout our hospital as he faithfully delivered supplies and mail. More than his daily duties, David brought a smile, a kind word, and genuine warmth to every interaction. His ability to connect with staff across departments created lasting friendships and a deep sense of community.

We will deeply miss his joyful spirit and the light he brought to our halls each day.
