Gabi Enriquez’s 22 year old son, David, was in an incredibly unfortunate car accident last night near where he lives in Tennessee. He and his girlfriend were driving on the highway and caught black ice that took control of his car. David, unfortunately, experienced an awful injury from the crash and was rushed into emergency surgery. It is with a heavy heart to say that he had to have one of his feet (up to his ankle) amputated and will now need to learn how to live with a prosthetic going forward. Since his surgeries this morning, he is in amazingly positive spirits about the incident and is in great hands at UT hospital. We are so lucky, minus the obvious, that he is still with us here today. Because insurance will only cover so much of pricy surgery and extensive therapy, I’m here to ask for friends and family to rally together to put some assistance together for the Enriquez family.
