Hi everyone,

This is really hard for me to share, but I’m asking for help for my dad, David.

David has been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma and will be undergoing a more complex surgery this Friday at the hospital. While we are hopeful this will take care of what’s needed, the procedure and recovery are more involved than a typical case.

Because of this, he will be out of work for at least 6 weeks while he heals.

Like many people, missing that much work creates a serious financial strain. Bills don’t stop, and with added medical expenses, it becomes overwhelming very quickly. As his children, we are doing everything we can to support him, and this fundraiser will also help ease some of the financial stress that would otherwise fall on us during this time.

If you know David, you know he’s not someone who would ever ask for help—but right now, he truly needs it.

I created this fundraiser to help cover basic living expenses and ease some of the stress so he can focus on healing and recovery.
