My name is Linsey Dupris. My husband, David Dupris Jr., was involved in a horrific motor vehicle accident on October 18th. He suffered 17 fractures, a laceration to his head, and a broken foot. He is still currently bedridden and healing. It will be a long-term process to get him walking and moving again.

My husband was our income to our household. We have 6 children in our household. I've been trying to go back to work, but since the government shutdown, it has delayed the hiring process.

We are currently struggling with upcoming bills and needs for our children. I've been at my husband's bedside since the accident, and I am unable to eat at the hospital with him as the hospital doesn’t cover meal vouchers.

I've been reaching out to every program possible for assistance, but his recovery is going to be long-term, and I am looking ahead.

ANYTHING helps and we appreciate everything. He is currently hospitalized at Rapid City Monument Health, and there is no discharge date as of yet.
