Support David Moss through Cancer Treatment

Hello, my name is Brynn Carmody and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my partner Donny Moss, his father - David Moss, and their family.

Donny grew up in Nassau, Bahamas, the oldest of 6 siblings. If you have the pleasure of knowing Donny, you know just how much of a kind, loving, and generous person he is - all traits passed down from his father, David. Even the beginnings of Donny’s basketball career were fuelled by his dad’s love for the game.

Residing in the Bahamas, David has worked the same job for over thirty years. He is a dedicated family man and generous friend - always looking out for those around him.

In recent weeks, David has been diagnosed with Lymphoma after enduring a summer of other health-related issues. Fear of putting financial strain on his family led him to put off going to the doctor for a proper diagnosis. He now requires life-saving medical treatments including chemotherapy and radiation to attack the illness as soon as possible. Unfortunately, without health insurance, David’s medical bills must be paid in full, in order to receive these lifesaving treatments.

As you can imagine, this has left an incredible amount of emotional and financial stress on the family. Dealing with the situation - from Canada - has been extremely difficult for Donny.

I have started this fundraiser to help gather funds so that David can get the care he needs. Any money raised will go towards David's medical bills for things such as chemo, radiation, bloodwork, scans, and cancer specialist appointments.
