Support David Darlington After Gear Theft

Hey friends

My name is David Darlington and I am a 1st AC from NYC. My car was broken into last night and my entire kit was stolen. I do not want to ask for help from the community, but everyone who I spoke to said I should start a fundraiser so I am making one here. I am blessed to be safe and life and limb is okay. I know that everything will eventually be okay, but I am going to need some time to get back on my feet. I want to use this more as a message to anyone else in the industry to please never leave gear in your car no matter how many cases you have to carry up the stairs every night. Pay for a secure parking spot for your vehicle and PLEASE PLEASE spend the money on production insurance for your gear. I am humbly asking for any amount of help from the beautiful NYC film community I am blessed to be a part of, thank you so much.
