Support David Burdette's Sons

Friends and family of David (Dave, D-Burd) Burdette. As many of you are aware, David passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last week. His two boys, Rahim (22) and Ahmed (20), lost their father and are now in a situation of much uncertainty when it comes to their immediate future. As David did not have a will, the boys will have to go through probate due to California law. This means that they will have zero access to their father’s accounts for an extended and undetermined amount of time and will be required to retain a lawyer and pay expensive probate costs. Rahim is about to graduate from college and begin medical school applications, and Ahmed is finishing his degree at UCSB. They do not have the means to pay for a lawyer or the many other associated expenses, including funeral costs and their own rent and living expenses. Please consider, as a tribute to David, donating to their cause. Any amount will help ease some of the considerable financial pressure they will have to endure over the next 6-12 months.

David was an incredibly loving and supportive father to his sons, Ahmed and Rahim, a reliable and empathetic friend to many, both in Napa and across the world, and above all else, a smart, quirky, and passionate man. He always provided for those that he loved and cared about his family above all else. We are all feeling the impact of this loss right now but are pushing forward as he would have wanted.
