Hi, my name is Charli, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my boyfriend, David Breault, and his family as they navigate an incredibly difficult and unexpected medical journey.

On November 11th, David went to the emergency room after experiencing severe nausea, headaches, and blurred vision. After undergoing an MRI, he was told there was an abnormality on his brain. He was transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital, where doctors delivered heartbreaking news: David has a Non-germinomatous Germ Cell Tumor (brain cancer).

David quickly underwent a surgery called an ETV, and while he is recovering from that procedure, he now faces a long road ahead. His next step is an 11-month chemotherapy trial, which will include both inpatient and outpatient treatments, along with blood and platelet transfusions. This will be a physically and emotionally challenging year for David and his family.

As medical bills begin to grow and the costs of transportation, gas, meals, and daily living expenses continue to add up, the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. David’s family is doing everything they can to support him through this battle, but they cannot do it alone.
