Help David Fight for His Life After a Devastating E-Bike Accident
Our family is asking for prayers, support, and help for our beloved nephew, David A Long, age 61, who suffered a catastrophic e-bike accident in Aptos, California on May 18, 2026. The accident caused a severe traumatic brain injury, and David is currently in a coma at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California.
Doctors have warned our family that David’s condition is extremely critical, with the possibility that he may not survive or could be left in a vegetative state. We are holding onto hope and praying for a miracle as he continues to fight for his life.
This tragedy comes at an already heartbreaking time for David and his wife, Romina. Just days before the accident, Romina lost her job, and they were forced out of their home. Now, while she remains by David’s side during this unimaginable crisis, she is also facing overwhelming financial hardship with no stable income and mounting medical and living expenses.
We are humbly asking for any support you can give to help ease the burden on David and Romina during this devastating time. Donations will help cover:
• Emergency medical expenses
• Ongoing hospital and rehabilitation costs
• Temporary housing and basic living needs
• Transportation, meals, and daily expenses while Romina stays near the hospital
We will continue to post updates on David’s condition as they become available.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping David and Romina in your prayers. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference and gives this family hope during the darkest time of their lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support.
