Hello all, I am one out of 5 children to these two amazing people, David and JoAnna Fountain. I’m making this for them to hopefully ease any burdens financially through this already difficult enough time.

On December 19, 2024 my dad took my mom to the er in Williston, ND. She had been having pains around her chest area and not too long after arriving her heart stopped. Everyone took immediate action and performed cpr for 40 minutes until they had to call it. But my mom is one tough lady and as stubborn as they come and right after they called it she started breathing and her heart started beating again on its own. She then was transferred to trinity hospital in Minot, ND where she layed in a coma until she awoke on Christmas Day. She’s been through the wringer, having some hiccups throughout this whole ordeal. But she’s currently waiting to be transferred to a respiratory clinic in Mandan, ND to continue her care. She had a tracheotomy on January 2 and will need specialized care for as long as it stays in. We don’t know how long that will be.

On top of everything, she does have some brain damage and needs multiple types of therapies as she continues on with her recovery.

I created this to help my dad. Who has had to travel back and forth to and from Minot (4 hour round trip) almost every day. He’s taking all the right steps to keep his job but it’s without pay unless he's there. But he tries to spend as much time with my mom as possible. But the bills are only continuing to stack every single day. And any help is needed and appreciated.
