Help David and Anthony After the Sudden Loss of Their Wife and Mother
On July 27, 2025, we lost an incredible woman far too soon. Stacey Lee Holmes, born November 23, 1978, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at just 46 years old—likely from a heart attack. Her passing has left a deep hole in our hearts, and an overwhelming challenge for her husband, David, and her 21-year-old son, Anthony, who is autistic and relies heavily on his parents for care and stability.
Stacey was the heart of their home—kind, quirky, and full of love. She adored butterflies and believed they were a sign from her grandfather saying hello. She loved owls, filled her home with their images, and made every holiday feel magical. Her gentle soul made a huge impact on everyone who knew her.
This year has brought unimaginable loss to our family. Stacey’s mother, Cyndi Lane, passed away just months ago. Her father, Richard Lane, and biological father, Nate (Debra) Simpson, are heartbroken along with her two siblings, Craig Walker (Clara) and sister Kay Jones.
We are raising funds to help with:
- Funeral and memorial costs
- Rent and basic living expenses
- Legal and financial help navigating benefits
- Continued care and support for Anthony
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping them get through the days and weeks ahead. If you cannot give, please consider sharing this with others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, supporting, and loving Stacey and her family.
“Every butterfly was her grandpa saying hello.”
She loved owls and saw wisdom and wonder in even the darkest times.
