This is for my son in law to be William "DAVEY" Mitchell. Coming home from work Tuesday night, riding his motorcycle he was hit by a careless drive on Rt. 9 in Halfmoon. Davey is a young, healthy, athletic guy who always rides with caution! A car pulled infront of him, he had direct impact, fly 20ft and a passerby stopped who seen the entire accident to help until first responders arrived. Davey has multiple compound fractures to his leg and arm/hand which is going to lead to loss of work for months while he recovers from his lengthy surgeries he had Wednesday 8/20/25.

Davey and the love of his life ( my daughter) are 5 months away from what is to be the greatest day of their lives! There wedding day, January 17th. With the amount of injuries sustained and now out of work for months this is going to impact financially a lot to get them to there wedding day! Gas, Food, Parking back and forth to Albany Medical, anything anyone can help this young couple with would be GREATLY appreciated! Davey has a long road ahead of him, but we know he can do it and has friends, family and community behind him all the way.
