Support Dave’s Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery

On April 14th our Dad, David Stander, began experiencing debilitating symptoms at home, due to a Major Traumatic Brain Injury. Mom rushed him to the hospital when she realized something serious was in play, where they confirmed Dad was having a Major PCA Stroke.

Dad was monitored at Emerson Hospital for the majority of the day yesterday and then transferred out to Lowell General to receive the care he needs from a Very Capable Neuro Team. He is resting in LGH ICU care now. (A special thanks to the Critical Care Teams tirelessly caring for our Father).

Our Angel of a Mother, Pamela, is heartbroken that her Husband of 42 years is in pain but she is by his side doing whatever she can to help him through this terrifying fight, and make it back home.

To help ease the burden of the Massive pile of medical bills that will be at their doorstep in the next few weeks, along with extended time away from work, us “Kids” are asking for your help.

If Dad pushes through and makes it back home, he will have a very long road to recovery and first need to stay at a rehabilitation facility for round the clock care and Therapy.
