On the morning of June 28th, my life changed in an instant when I suffered a stroke that left the entire left side of my body paralyzed. Since then, I’ve needed help with even the most basic daily tasks—bathing, using the restroom, and getting around. I’m now home from the hospital, being cared for by my fiancée and our daughters, who have stepped up in every way possible to support me during this difficult time.


Before the stroke, I ran my own water conditioning company and took pride in being self-sufficient since I was 17. Now, I’m unable to work or provide for my family as I once did. The medical bills are piling up, and we’re struggling to cover our living expenses. I’m preparing to start physical therapy soon, determined to regain my strength and independence, but the road ahead is long and uncertain.
