Dave, our son-in-law, has always been a strong, actively vibrant man who loves his wife, Teri, his son, Sam, and his entire family. Several weeks ago, Dave was severely injured in a bicycle accident, suffering several broken ribs and a punctured lung. After a difficult hospital stay, he was released and bravely returned to work, determined to get back to his life.

Tragically, Dave has now suffered a major stroke that has affected the right side of his body. His recovery will be long and challenging, with discharge plans including extended stays in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, and possibly hospice care or an assisted living facility. These necessary steps for his recovery will bring considerable expenses that are difficult for his family to manage alone.

Dave has always been the first to offer help to others, but it is not easy for him to ask for help himself. That’s why we, his in-laws Bill and Bettiann, are reaching out on his behalf.
