I am a tree climber, and I rescue cats that have been stuck in the tops of trees, sometimes for many days. I was called by Dave to help retrieve his cat, Toby, a 1.5 year old kitten that he rescued (along with his littermates) from under a concrete stoop. The weather was brutal on the day that I met up with Dave to help get Toby down. It had rained most of the previous day, then temperatures dropped into the teens overnight. As I was preparing to climb up to rescue Toby, he let out a couple of mews and slid out of the tree unalive. Not knowing if he was frozen or passed out. We rushed him to the nearest vet where he was pronounced dead. This is where I learned how many cats Dave has taken in under his care. Dave is on SNAP benefits and could use help getting these cats spayed, neutered, and vetted.

I hope to raise money for an Angel Fund for Dave’s animals at Parsons Animal Clinic, and the remainder will be split between a guest payment on Dave’s electricity bills, and gift cards/credit at the pet store where Dave purchases food for his animals.
