In January of this year (2025), Dave was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma after presenting to the local ER with unrelated symptoms.

He currently owns and runs a resort with his wife Stephanie and they are in need of support as they navigate Dave's new diagnosis, his frequent treatments and his need to step back from working around the Lodge in order to focus on his health at this time.
