On the morning of Thursday, October 23, our beloved bus driver and dear friend, David “Daveo” Wilmont, suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot in his brain. We were just outside Cleveland, Ohio, when it happened. Thanks to the quick response of the medical team, the clot was dissolved, and Daveo was stabilized.
He’s been in the ICU for the past several days and will remain under close medical care for the foreseeable future. His wife, Leone, immediately flew from their home in Natchez, Mississippi, and has been by his side every step of the way.
Daveo isn’t just our driver—he’s family. His kindness, humor, and steady presence have touched everyone in our band and crew. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
We’re raising funds to help cover medical costs, travel, lodging, and any other needs that Daveo and Leone face during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to them to help ease their burden.
Thank you for your love, generosity, and prayers. Let’s rally around our brother and help him get back on the road to recovery.
Much love,
