Support Dave Schirmer and family on his road to recovery

Hi everyone,

I feel led to start this gofundme for my close neighbors and friends. As many of you know, Dave Schirmer has been in critical condition. A few weeks ago, he had an independent issue with a perforated bowel. He then became septic and had to undergo two major surgeries. He is currently battling major infections with a fever in the ICU. He also has a kidney stone that will need surgically removed at a later date, which is not possible to deal with currently with everything else going on. Today marks his 19th day in the hospital.

On top of Dave's medical conditions, Linda is not only dealing with travel expenses, but also a tough situation at home. Their hot water tank recently burst, and now they have so much damage to deal with. They need new flooring throughout their home. There have been individuals coming into their home to provide hands when they are needed, so we thank God for them. However, this is still a major concern as well.

Mounting unexpected expenses have become a result of this whole situation, and while they are doing what they can, they need help from compassionate friends and family. Your generous donations will go directly toward Linda to help cover hospital expenses and anything else they may need during this difficult time.
