Support Dave Regel’s Road to Recovery

For nearly 20 years, Dave Regel has been a dedicated real estate professional and a valued member of our local community. Dave also proudly served our country as a member of the United States Navy, a reflection of the same character and selflessness he continues to show in his work and in his life.

Recently, Dave experienced a sudden and life-threatening medical emergency. After suffering a heart attack and a fall, he was hospitalized and diagnosed with a brain bleed. He underwent surgery to have a pacemaker placed, and at that time, it appeared he was on the path to recovery.

Just days later, Dave developed a severe headache and was readmitted to the hospital. The brain bleed had doubled in size. Despite close monitoring, it doubled again, and he required a craniotomy to remove the blood and repair the source of the bleeding.

While that surgery initially went well, Dave suffered another bleed and a stroke just two hours later.

He was transferred to a hospital with a Neuro ICU, where he spent 22 days on a ventilator and receiving tube feedings. Dave has now been moved to a long-term care hospital, where he is beginning the next phase of recovery. He is working to wean off the ventilator and is receiving extensive physical, speech, and feeding therapy. He is expected to remain there for several weeks as he continues this difficult journey.

As a brokerage, we are doing everything we can to support Dave, his clients, and his business during this time. However, the reality is that his absence has created ongoing financial challenges, both personally and professionally. Like many in real estate, Dave runs an independent business with continuous expenses that do not pause during a medical crisis.

We are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden so Dave can focus fully on his recovery. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, sharing this page and keeping Dave in your thoughts and prayers is deeply appreciated.

Dave has spent his life serving others, both in uniform and in his community. Now it is our turn to show up for him.

Thank you for your support.
