The diagnosis came as a shock, and the outlook is unfortunately not optimistic. Just as they were starting their own business, Salty Girl Pool and Spa, after being let go from their longtime jobs, this tragedy struck. Without insurance and unprepared for such devastating news, they now find themselves in a situation where they need the support of family, friends, and their community more than ever.


Dave is unable to work consistently due to the severe side effects of chemotherapy, and Marcy is doing everything she can to keep their business afloat while caring for Dave and holding her family together.
