Hello Redeemer Family. My name is Yvonne Stubbs. My husband, John, and I, and our children have been attending Redeemer Church since 2014. Our family greatly appreciated the ministry of Redeemer's former pastor, David Lynden. He moved on to take on an organizational pastoral position at an Evangelical Free Church in Springfield, OH, and Ohio was where the Lynden's were from originally. In December 2024, Pastor Dave Lynden fell gravely ill with severe pancreatitis. His illness was life-threatening, and he was hospitalized for over 1 month, having various surgeries clear the necrosis/ infection in his pancreas. By God's grace, Dave is making a recovery, but the road is long for complete restoration and health. At the time of this writing Dave is in a rehabilitation facility to get his strength back from being so sick for so long. Dave and Desiree celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary while Dave was in the hospital. The hospital bills will be enormous for this family.

While Dave and Desiree would only ever ask for your prayers for restoration of Dave's health and for God's protection and provision for their family, the Holy Spirit has led me to believe the Lynden family may need assistance in paying off medical bills.

I pray that all who call themselves friends of the Lynden family would be inspired by the Holy Spirit to help in whatever capacity that is possible.
