Support Dave Hartman's Final Farewell

My name is Tisha Hartman Schmitt. We recently were informed that my dad, Dave Hartman, was suspected to have had stage 4 pancreatic cancer with metastasis to the liver. I lost him 13 days after the suspected diagnosis.

We were not prepared for any of this. My dad worked hard his whole life and was a perfectionist when it came to his skills in construction, but we weren't prepared for him being sick or to lose him in such a short time. My heart is broken not having my dad. I already miss him something fierce and unbearable when I reach for my phone to call him, and my heart hurts when I realize he isn't there to answer it.

I was just as surprised to find out how much the costs of death impact not only your heart but also financially. Again, we just weren't prepared for this unexpected cost. I am trying to raise money for my dad to be laid to rest and given the funeral he deserves. Thank you, as my dad was a very good man and deserves to have a dignified final resting place.
