Victor is raising this fundraiser for a close family friend, Gianna, and her parents, Dave and Erin, as they face an incredibly difficult season. Dave, who is retired, is beginning chemo treatments, and the whole family is doing everything they can to stay strong through what lies ahead. At the same time, Erin has stepped away from work so she can care for Dave full-time, which has added even more pressure to their household. Gianna is a rising high school senior at Barnegat and also a top softball prospect being recruited in New Jersey, and while she continues to work hard and stay focused, her family is carrying a heavy emotional and financial burden.

This support will help ease some of that burden by helping cover chemo treatments for Dave and living expenses for Erin while she is caring for him. Right now, the goal is to give Gianna, Dave, and Erin a little breathing room so they can focus on Dave’s health, on being together, and on getting through each day without the constant weight of financial stress.
