Hi, my name is Chrissy and I created this fundraiser on behalf of David Bubser. He is a 6th-grade teacher at Emerson-Williams Elementary School in Wethersfield, CT.

I happened to be in the building when an announcement was made regarding Dave’s diagnosis and prognosis to his classroom. You could see the concern on “his” kids' faces and I imagine there were so many thoughts going through their minds regarding the journey ahead of Dave. The following day, I knew I wanted to help support him in some way. This GoFundMe is set up to assist Dave with medical bills, everyday bills, or even mental health benefits. It is whatever he and his family see fit to help him cope with his journey.
