Dave Bonheff is a retired police officer and beloved school bus driver in Littlestown, PA. For years, he drove Bus #73 for Krise Transportation, proudly wearing his red 'Make America Great Again' hat every day. The kids even called him 'Mr. Dave MAGA.' But recently, after a single complaint, Dave was told by his supervisor to remove his hat or hand over his keys. Dave chose his principles over his paycheck, refusing to take off the hat and walking away from his job without regret.

Dave has always believed in standing up for what’s right. He served our community as a police officer for 25 years, and as a bus driver, he was known for his kindness and dedication to the students. Now, because he refused to compromise his beliefs, he finds himself without a paycheck and facing uncertainty. The district and contractor cited a vague policy about 'divisive' symbols, but for Dave, this was about patriotism and personal integrity, not politics.

We are starting this fund to support Dave as he navigates this difficult time.
