Support Dave and Fran in Their Time of Need

Dave and Fran are my in-laws and are in need of help. They have always helped their community and have given back to all they know.They have been long time residents in Siskiyou county.They have lived in Hornbrook for many years and have raised their children and grandchildren there.

They don’t usually ask for help, but this time it’s under different circumstances. And if they could take care of it themselves, they would.

Sadly, recently Dave became ill over the last 3 months with difficult circumstances medically and has been sent to be in an acute post-recovery center 45 miles from home. Dave will be needing special food, which Fran will have to make and take to him every day. With her having to go back and forth daily, it will cause much strain on her and the funds going out for medical bills, household bills, gas, etc., which is not much at all.

Dave had a seizure in March, and he has been in 4 hospitals since then with serious infections in the his blood Gi bleeds a jaw infection and a few other medical emergencies that require IV fluids by nurses only. It has been one medical emergency after another that has landed him where he is today, and he will be there at least 6 weeks before he is able to return home.

Please help us to make this process easier for them as he really would like to go home healthy and soon.

Medicare only covers 80 percent of his stays.So the bills are piling up and overwhelming.Any donations are welcome and appreciated.
