Support Dauge/Borowski Family in Recovery

On March 4th, 2020, Audrey Jeanette was born into the world via an emergency C-Section at 37 weeks premature due to hypertension & preeclampsia. She was healthy & happy. Just shortly after 3 weeks old, her mother (my daughter Jessica) at 27 years old suffered an unimaginable tragic event. On March 28th, Jessica had a major left-sided stroke caused by a benign tumor on her mitral valve which in turn released a blood clot to her brain. She has had several surgeries & procedures since. First was brain surgery to remove the brain blockage which caused her to have seizures and became dependent on life support until they could stabilize them with seizure medication. Next was surgery to place a filter in her inferior vena cava to prevent other clots found in her arm & her leg from traveling to her lungs or brain before they were able to put her on anticoagulants for her Factor Five Leiden disorder. This has left Audrey's father, Fred, responsible for 100% of her caretaking while unable to see his partner & unable to work. There are no words to describe the grief that the whole family is experiencing right now from afar (Pennsylvania /Nevada /Massachusetts /Hawaii /Montana /New York). We ask for your help at this difficult time while Jessica fights to learn to speak, to walk & to someday be able to care for herself, her child & partner. We have set up the GoFundMe account to help Fred cover the unexpected costs of hospitals & rehabilitation facilities, bills, travel to see when possible and newborn baby expenses to allow him to take care of baby Audrey & himself while Jessica fights to recover & regain her place as mother to her child & more.
