Support Data Collection Software
Donation protected
Hi, as many of you know, I am currently a special education teacher at a DCPS public school. I support students with HFA or Level 1 ASD. This year I had the pleasure of using an electronic data collection system funded through a donation. It has improved our practice tremendously.
I am hoping to secure funding for a data collection software essential to the continued success and growth of our High-Functioning Autism population.
As you know, students on the autism spectrum—particularly those with high-functioning profiles—benefit tremendously from individualized instruction, consistent progress monitoring, and data-driven support strategies. To meet these needs effectively, we require a robust and user-friendly data collection platform that allows our educators and support staff to:
Track academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress in real time
Analyze patterns to adjust interventions quickly and effectively
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams with streamlined communication tools
Ensure compliance with IEP documentation and reporting requirements
Implementing a dedicated software solution will not only increase efficiency but also significantly enhance the quality of support we can provide to our students.
We are seeking 2,500 to cover the cost of the data collection software called Motivity which includes licensing, consistent training, and ongoing technical support for one year. This investment will directly impact the outcomes of students in our program and strengthen our ability to deliver the high level of service they deserve.
We would be deeply grateful for your consideration of this request. I am happy to provide further information, including software details, cost breakdowns, and how this tool aligns with our broader educational goals.
Thank you for your ongoing support of inclusive education and for helping us provide the resources our students need to thrive.
