Hi, my name is Dashawn Jenkins, and I’m a senior wrestler from Aurora, Colorado. I’ve proudly qualified for the National Team every year I’ve competed—and now, in my final season of high school wrestling, I’ve done it again. But this time, I need a little help from my community to make it to my last high school nationals and finish this chapter the right way.

This upcoming competition marks the final event of my high school wrestling journey, and it means everything to me. It’s the culmination of the years I've spent grinding on and off the mat. And while this is the end of one chapter, it's also the beginning of the next—I’ll be continuing my wrestling career in college, and this trip is a huge stepping stone toward that future.

I’ve only been wrestling for 5–6 years, but I’ve made the most of every opportunity. I’ve proven that pride, passion, drive, and devotion can take you anywhere. I’ve shocked people—not just by winning—but by balancing school, work, and wrestling at the same time. Here's what I've accomplished so far:

2x Freestyle State Runner-Up (at 106 & 113 lbs)

Freestyle State 4th Place (at 120 lbs)

2x Regional Finalist (106 lbs)

6th Place – Western Regional Freestyle

5th Place – Western Regional Greco

5th Place – Southern Plains Regional Greco

2025 League Champion – 106 lbs

2024 League Runner-Up – 106 lbs

I’ve worked hard to get here, and I’m not done yet. Your support—no matter how big or small—helps me get to Nationals and represent my team, my city, and everyone who’s believed in me.
