Many of you know and love my brother Alex, his wife Dasha, and their 3 sassy Aussies. They will need the care and support of their friends and family now more than ever.

On February 5th, Dasha was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is currently Stage 3, with additional testing still needed to confirm it has not progressed further. This particular type of cancer is very aggressive and hard to treat as it does not contain estrogen or progesterone receptors; thus, hormone therapy is not effective.

Although he planned to retire next month, since receiving this diagnosis, Alex has decided to extend his time in the Navy in order to provide Dasha with the health care she will desperately need and to allow him the time to take her to appointments and care for her.

Despite this, I am sure they will incur many unforeseen expenses and struggles.

In addition, Dasha will not be able to work while she undergoes chemotherapy, surgery, another round of chemotherapy, and radiation.

I’m asking if you see it in your heart and are able, to please donate to help make their long and surely hard road just a little easier.

Anyone that has spent any time with Alex and Dasha knows they would drop anything to help their friends and family, and they need us to surround them in this time of need.
