Our family is asking for help for my mom as she recovers from a life saving liver transplant. About a year ago, she was diagnosed with liver failure and after a long and difficult medical journey, it was decided she would be a good candidate for a liver transplant. We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have a second chance at life. The procedure and recovery process is long and comes with significant challenges.

Over the next several months, she will need constant medical monitoring, anti-rejection medications, frequent hospital visits and specialized medical care. These treatments along with time away from work will be a financial strain the our family. I started this GoFundMe to help the many costs that come with post-transplant care, including medications, follow-up appointments, temporary housing, medical visits, and daily living expenses while she focuses on recovery.
