Support Darwin Pineda's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Darwin Pineda.

On July 26, 2025, I rushed to the ER with severe abdominal pain and bloating. That same day, doctors discovered a tumor in my colon. The next morning, July 27, I underwent surgery to remove the tumor on the left side of my colon, which was causing a blockage.

While recovery from surgery has been going well, follow-up scans brought devastating news: I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma (colon cancer) with metastases to my liver, bones, and lungs.

Recently, I had a port placement surgery to prepare for chemotherapy treatments. This diagnosis has completely turned my life upside down emotionally, and physically.

At the moment, I am unable to work and as I soon begin treatment i’m unaware and unsure what my side effects will be. Medical bills are covered for a year, but living expenses aren’t, along few medical costs. Though i do have the help of my parents and family members i don’t want to rely solely on them for my personal expenses and bills. I also want to be able to still help out. My parents are also having to miss time from work to company me to appointments. That’s why I’m reaching out with this GoFundMe.
