Hello, my name is Ugurcan, but I am known in capoeira as Dartanha. I came to California from Turkey almost two years ago with a dream to grow in capoeira and in life.

This transition was not easy, but I have been able to work hard to organize my life. Unfortunately three months ago, while training capoeira, I suffered some injuries and tore my ACL. With the encouragement of my friends and family, I created this GoFundMe because I will need surgery and will not be able to work or cover my expenses, like rent, food, and insurance, over the next few months while I am in recovery.
