Daryl's UTMC family would like to set up a fund to help him and his family out. As many of you may know, Daryl has already had surgery to fix the arteries in his carotids that caused a stroke. Daryl was being worked up to have surgery to fix the arteries in both his legs. During the surgery work-up, they found that he also needs open-heart surgery. Daryl has worked at UTMC for 20+ years. This family has been through a lot this year with the passing of his father-in-law and the very unexpected passing of his brother-in-law, Bob. As his work family, we feel the least we can do is try and help them with the financial burden of medical bills and unpaid leave of absence from work. They have two children at home still, one who they are helping get through college and the other is a junior in high school. Any amount you are able to donate helps.
