On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, Darron Greer, Jr. was nominated to attend the Euro Youth Basketball Cup in Spain, June 8-16, 2025. This is a prestigious international youth basketball event in which up to 60+ teams and 20+ Countries are represented from around the world. A 9-day travel experience that allows student-athletes the opportunity to gain leadership, team building, financial skills, basketball competition, skill development, and an immense cultural education. Darron started playing organized league basketball in Waterloo, Iowa at the age of eight. He is an exceptional student who has continued to reach high honors academically, attaining a GPA of 3.8 for the past semester. This FIBA Spain Tour cost $5,000.00 per player which includes his round-trip flight, hotel, ground transportation, two meals per day, sightseeing activities, excursions, educational tour guides, EYBC entry fees & his Official USA Uniform (shorts & jersey). We have met the $500 Deposit to reserve his roster spot and need to pay 50% of the total balance by February 5, 2025: 75% by March 5, 2025, and 100% by April 5, 2025. He began playing basketball with AAU Salvation Team in 2017 and, AAU Chicago Demons in 2022. His main goal is to ultimately play in the NBA.
