I'm Charlene Orange-Paul and I'm raising funds on behalf of my husband, Darren Paul for a medical procedure.

Some know Darren as DeDe and others may know him as Paul, but most of all, he's known as a God-fearing man who does his best for his family, friends and loved ones. He was recently found in a difficult, life-threatening medical situation. This situation affects his well-being, his life, and his existence.

To explain, in August 2024, he was in a car accident with moderate injuries. During medical examinations after being transported to the emergency room, tests revealed he has Ventricular Tachycardia (V-tach). What is V-tach? I'm glad you asked. V-tach occurs when the lower chamber of the heart beats too fast to pump well, and the body doesn't receive enough oxygenated blood.

This often results in dizziness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, tightness in the chest, excruciating chest pains, and fatigue. At this point, these symptoms occur almost daily.

As you can imagine, this affects and sometimes decreases his daily activities. Those who know him, know he's always on the go, and having to limit daily activities is not like him.

His electrophysiologist does not recommend taking the medications long-term, and he's exhausted the recommended time frame for taking the medications.

He has now come to the point where a procedure is required to correct the condition. As many of you know, out-of-pocket medical procedures and expenses can be expensive, especially when it's unexpected.

Those who know him, know he's a hard worker and very dedicated to his craft. If he could handle this alone, he would. However, the amount is too enormous. Thus, the reason for the ask. This is a life-and-death situation, and he chooses life.

I'm asking for donations to assist with his medical procedure and expenses. He must complete the procedure as soon as possible (within the next two months).
