We are raising funds to help support Stacy's brother Darren and his family during his battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. His diagnosis was deemed terminal a few months ago and treatments were started to give him more quality time with his family. Darren, a welder by trade, lost his insurance coverage since becoming disabled earlier this year from his cancer diagnosis, and his treatments were temporarily stopped until he could be approved for alternative coverage.

During that time, his cancer spread to his brain, causing seizures that required immediate brain surgery a few weeks ago. He is recovering at home now and hopes to resume treatments soon. However, he and his family will have to travel over 2 hours for his radiation, and the cost to do so will add up fast. We hope this fundraiser will help to alleviate some of the financial burden he faces.
